This piece marks the beginning of a journey into the unknown: a psychedelic voyage inspired by my first LSD trip, where I discovered that the universe isn’t out there it’s within me.
On stage, I appear as 2-D, the lead singer of Gorillaz a childhood icon who now becomes my avatar in this inner theater. He guides me through a surreal landscape where time bends and reality melts, shaped by raw, unfiltered emotion.
The path I paint is the path of my life, one I’m creating step by step, surrounded by beings who may love me, deceive me or both. Every color is a state of emotion, a wave of feeling that builds and collapses until there is nothing left to feel. It’s an emotional spectrum that leads to the end of the road… the end of me.
This isn’t just a painting.
It’s a portal.
A warning.
A mirror.
