La Flames 369 emerged from a collaboration with Evolution Balanceboard, realized during a Live Painting performance at the Bemtevi Experience. The piece unfolds on an unconventional support—a balance board—transforming it into a dynamic canvas that challenges spatial control, motor precision, and gestural fluidity.

The process begins in a state of hyperfocus, where the artist enters a heightened level of awareness, allowing accumulated energy and environmental interactions to channel through each mark. Rather than spontaneous abstraction, the gestures are guided by vivid internal visualizations: forms, colors, and compositions projected mentally before being executed, as if the subconscious is issuing a silent directive.

Using high-saturation acrylic pigments, the surface is activated with razor-sharp linework and bold chromatic fields. Hidden faces, organic distortions, and cryptic textual fragments emerge in layered complexity, inviting the viewer into a visual dialogue. The composition plays deliberately with perception—its elements designed to trigger individual interpretation, allowing the audience to construct their own mental image while the artist simultaneously decodes theirs, forming a reciprocal exchange of meaning.

Anthropomorphic beings fused with arachnid anatomy populate the scene—living metaphors for memory and emotional residue. These entities personify the internal archive of experiences, both intimate and collective, embodying the surreal landscape of the psyche.

La Flames 369 stands not just as a painting, but as a moment of lived intensity—captured mid-transformation. A balance board becomes a vessel of expression, and the act of painting becomes a performance of presence, reflection, and symbolic communion.
