Oracle

This work arises from a pivotal spiritual encounter, a moment years ago in dialogue with a spiritual mediator that opened a channel of understanding I had unknowingly carried within me all along. “Oracle" explores the fluid space between intuition, dream, and divine memory, rendered through the expressive urgency of abstraction and the visual language of the subconscious.

Executed in acrylic and chalk, the texture becomes as vital as the image itself. Broad, intuitive strokes surge across the canvas, layered with frenetic mark-making and fine linear detail that seems to both conceal and reveal at once. The red and black palette, with its roots coat pattern, evokes raw instinct, spiritual fire, and protection while the face, fragmented by white chalk lines, fades into spectral translucency, suggesting a being not fully of this world.

From the torso downward, the painting dissolves into a vortex of surreal figuration: multiple eyes, mouths, and abstracted spirits emerge from the flow, hidden in the marks, each one a voice or vision once received in dream or trance state. These elements are not added arbitrarily they are the coded language of the artist's inner world, recorded during moments of altered perception where the veil between the conscious and the unconscious thinned.

In “Oracle”, the artist serves not only as creator, but as translator of the unspeakable making visible what is often felt but not easily understood. The result is not an answer, but a visual invocation, inviting the viewer to listen for their own invisible truths.
